Beautiful Bedfordshire Countryside Wedding in The Spring

Spring is a season of renewal and blossoming love, and it was no exception for Olly and Jessica as they celebrated their wedding day at the picturesque Eversholt Hall in Bedfordshire. Despite the unpredictable April showers weather, their love shone through, creating a memorable day filled with joy and heartfelt moments. As the chosen photographer for their special day, I had the privilege of capturing the beautiful memories that unfolded, including an unexpected twist of rain showers that turned into an opportunity for some enchanting portrait rain shots.

Wedding Morning Preparations at The Woburn Hotel

The day began with Bridal & groom Prep at elegant Woburn Hotel in Bedfordshire, only a couple of miles away from the church and the reception venue. It was the perfect setting to get ready in style whilst feeling super relaxed! Jessica was joined by her bridesmaids and her lovely little girl, and they were all so excited to see Jessica in her dress for the first time! She received a lovely letter and a gift from Olly which she read aloud to her bridesmaids – it was such a special moment, and left everybody feeling emotional before the day had even begun!

Wedding Ceremony at St John the Baptist Church

We then headed to St. John's the Baptist church, where Olly and Jessica exchanged their vows in the presence of their loved ones. The intimate ceremony was filled with emotions as the couple sealed their commitment to each other. The charming church, with its rustic charm and ornate details, provided a picturesque backdrop for the couple's first moments as newlyweds.

Wedding Breakfast and Speeches at Eversholt Hall

After the ceremony, the wedding party made their way to the enchanting Eversholt Hall, it looked incredible! The thing I love about this venue is that it’s so adaptable – it’s a blank canvas for you to personalise however you choose. The rain showers that accompanied the day added a touch of magic to the celebrations, as umbrellas adorned with delicate flowers shielded the guests from the elements. Olly & Jessica turned up in an amazing VW camper van, which added a vintage style to the wedding. The lush greenery and blooming flowers of the hall's gardens provided a breathtaking setting for capturing unforgettable memories.

Despite the cold and rainy weather, the couple and their guests embraced the spirit of the day with warmth and joy. As a photographer, I was inspired by their resilience and the determination to make the most of every moment. The rain showers, far from dampening the spirits, added an element of romance and uniqueness to the wedding day.

Evening Celebrations

As the evening approached, we seized the opportunity to venture outside with some very large and helpful umbrellas. The rain became a catalyst for creativity, providing a rare chance to capture some truly magical moments. With the assistance of the umbrellas, we were able to create stunning portrait rain shots that encapsulated the couple's love and their willingness to embrace whatever the day presented.

Olly and Jessica's spring wedding at Eversholt Hall was a testament to love's ability to transcend any weather conditions. The cold and rainy day not only failed to dampen spirits but added an unexpected element of romance and enchantment. Through the rain showers and the support of some large umbrellas, we were able to capture breathtaking portrait rain shots that perfectly embodied the couple's love and resilience. It was an honor to be part of their special day and to witness the beauty that can emerge when love prevails, no matter the circumstances.
